A BLOG TO TELL YOU OUR STORY
Marcarini is more than just a winery. It’s a world. It is a microcosm made from all the different parts of our farm, tied to the rhythms of nature and the traditions of viniculture in the Langhe and Roero. It is made from tourism, revolving around its Agriturismo in the hills of Barbaresco and winery visits with wine tastings and purchases from our Wine Shop in La Morra.
Yet, the variety of what we offer and its nuances are not meant to be elements of complexity, but diverse occasions for expressing our thoughts and feelings—going in depth of a character rather than looking at its disparate parts. Like great wines.
The world of Marcarini is based on values that don’t go in or out of style, but that are timeless: family, constancy in work, the good taste in a job well done, warm accommodation, and sharing. They are values that you can find in every aspect of our winery, whether you’re tasting our Barolo Brunate in La Morra or on the balcony of a high-rise in Manhattan.
We want to tell you about these values, entice you with them. We want to tell our story on the pages of this blog about the beauty of everyday living in dedication to the earth and to those who cultivate it; in the pleasures and responsibilities of living in a land recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage; and in the subtle satisfaction we get when one of our guests smiles and becomes a friend.
