WINE TASTINGS AND OPEN WINERIES (CANTINE APERTE) – April and May – La Morra

Beginning on Easter, you can visit our winery in La Morra during Open Wineries days. Each year, many different wineries participate, willing to open their doors to wine lovers for a taste and a tour. In addition, during May is a program of wine tastings dedicated to La Morra wine producers—it will take place every weekend at the cantina comunale of La Morra from 10:00 am-12:30 pm and 2:30-6:30 pm. For more information on these events, contact the Tourism Office of La Morra.

LOCAL WILD FOOD CHALLENGE – May 16-23 – La Morra

Mark your calendars for the Local Wild Food Challenge held from May 16-23 at the Castle of Verduno. The culinary competition began in a small town in New Zealand in 2008, and today is held in 8 different locations around the world—including the Langhe! The fun part about this culinary challenge is that participants may cook their dishes using only ingredients locally found, caught, hunted, and gathered in nature. Bring out your hunter-gatherer side and creative cooking skills for this fun event. May the best chef win!

IO, BAROLO la nuit – May 28 – Roddi

At 6:30 pm the tastings start, and beginning at 10:00 pm there will be music until after midnight. More information on www.stradadelbarolo.it
