ALL UPCOMING WINE FESTIVALS IN THE LANGHE AND ROERO
Discover all the wine festivals in the langhe and roero this spring and summer
The wine year has begun anew! After the quiet winter months, the sunshine and spring weather return the UNESCO hills of Piedmont to their full splendor. The new vintages are being bottled. The great reds, like Barolo 2013, are finishing their many months of barrel aging. Villages come alive with events, and practically everywhere, you can enjoy a glass of wine with good food, essential elements to the culture and landscape of the Langhe and Roero.
MORE THAN ONE REASON TO VISIT
If you’re looking for a good reason to come visit, we’ll give you 13. From April to August, we’ve selected the events that mark our spring and summer months in these hills.
But first, let’s start with some practical information.
Where should I sleep in the Langhe?
If you travel to the Langhe, stay at least two or three days. The territory is large and deserves time to get to know it without any rush. Why not stay at Agriturismo Marcarini? It’s located just a few kilometers from Alba, capital of the Langhe, and it’s nestled in the hills of Barbaresco in the midst of UNESCO World Heritage territory. It is a charming structure, completely renovated, and immersed in the vineyards. It’s sustainable (find out why). It has a personalized restaurant. And it even has a peaceful “garden of the soul.”
Where should I go for a winery visit?
Staying at Agriturismo Marcarini has another advantage. If you book your stay on our site, you can visit our winery for free! The Marcarini winery is in La Morra in the heart of Barolo, with a hundred-year wine history that spans some of the territory’s most important moments.
Where can I buy food and wine items of the Langhe and Roero?
Visit our Wine Shop. Here, we have our entire range of wines available as well as other products, like the Langhe hazelnuts that we cultivate on our land in Neviglie, or the honey of the Roero. Our shop offers a panorama of flavors that includes the whole territory. You can also buy our products online.
